For aid networks, foundations, vaccine donors and CSR teams

It is all about the data. The monthly form can stop.

Front-line vets, nurses and volunteers at animal charities run on paper, spreadsheets and goodwill, and the tools built for them barely exist. AnimalDesk gives them one place for the animal's record, so less time goes on admin and more on care. For you, every parcel and every target is counted from that same record, with no report to fill in.

For CSR and sustainability teams

Corporate social responsibility you can count.

Funding animal welfare is easy to announce and hard to evidence. When you cover a rescue's software, the charity's own records give you the numbers: vaccinations, sterilisations, medicines and stock for any dates, as a PDF or CSV for your CSR report.

Evidence, not anecdotes

Each figure is counted from the clinic's records, with the batch and the animal behind it. Totals only, never donor or adopter details.

Nothing for the charity to fill in

The monthly form stops. Your report comes from the same record the vet already keeps.

Start small, then scale

Cover one rescue's seat, a region, or a whole network. The charity pays nothing and keeps its data.

AnimalDesk is not an auditor and does not certify results. Figures come from each charity's own records.

The problem in the field

Aid is counted going out, not once it arrives.

A parcel is a count and a value. What happened to the medicines afterwards, and on which animals, rarely comes back in a standard form. Small clinics fill in a Google Form for each funder every month, and the data is only as good as the time they have left.

Parcels counted, not traced

1,042 parcels, £768k

WVS shipped 1,042 parcels worth £768k to 231 charities in 65 countries in 2024. Which dog each dose treated is not reported back (WVS Annual Report 2024).

Paper and chat groups

Drug counts in a notebook

Small charities run on spreadsheets and messages. Every wave of volunteers rebuilds the records, and controlled drugs are counted by hand.

Reports take a weekend

Built by hand, after the clinic closes

The people who should be treating animals are compiling grant reports from memory and photos.

What partners see

A report that writes itself from the clinic's records.

Each charity runs AnimalDesk for its clinic, shelter and field work. Batches are logged where they arrive and doses where they are given. You see the results by sponsor, by period and by target.

  • Batch to animal. Medicines given to an animal carry the batch automatically. Stock given out names who received it.
  • Stock traced. The share of each received batch that reached a named animal or receiver.
  • Targets with pace. A rabies or CNVR target for a period, with progress, time elapsed and GPS pins.

Live today and next

What works now, and what is on the roadmap.

We mark everything. Nothing here is promised that is not built.

Live today

Live
  • Every module in one record: clinic, surgery, stock, field and CNVR, volunteers, accounting, marketing, reporting
  • Batch, expiry, sponsor, parcel reference and receiver on stock received
  • Doses given out to a named animal or receiver, with the batch
  • Sponsor reports and a whole-practice report for any dates, as PDF and CSV
  • Targets in Outreach with pace, weekly progress and GPS pins
  • Offline phone app with GPS, photos and field consultations
  • Thai and English, with an AI Clinic Manager that cites its source and a vet who signs

Roadmap, built with partners

Not live
  • Parcel manifest: scan a donated parcel in, then tie each dose to the animal it treated
  • Controlled-drug register with opening balance, use per animal and signature
  • Import from field apps such as the WVS Data Collection App, starting from its CSV export
  • One dashboard across partner charities, by country and month, if the charities agree
  • Local QR donations and Thai e-Donation receipts
  • “Sponsored by…” shown in each funded rescue's AnimalDesk
Data stays with the charity

Totals, if the charity agrees.

The charity owns every record and can export it at any time. You see totals such as doses used, animals neutered and vaccinated. Never donor names, adopter details or locations. Location sharing is off by default and only the latest position is kept, deleted within 24 hours. Small charities are wary of funder surveillance, so the sharing agreement is short and plain.

Built where it is used

First workspace: a hospital for strays.

PACS on Koh Phangan has treated strays since 2001 and is the first AnimalDesk workspace. PACS reports about 80 sterilisations and 100 rabies vaccines a month. The founder worked alongside PACS, Lanta Animal Welfare and Koh Mak Animal Clinic for seven years.

How to start · proposed

A 90-day pilot with five to seven charities.

One question: do partners use it every week, and can you see where your parcels went?

Weeks 1 to 2

Set up

Each charity is set up, existing records move in, staff are trained on site or remotely.

Weeks 3 to 10

Live use

Pilot parcels and targets run through AnimalDesk. Weekly check-ins.

Weeks 11 to 13

Review

Results with you and each charity, then a decision on wider roll-out.

What counts as success

At least five charities using AnimalDesk every week by day 60. At least 80% of pilot items traced to an animal or event. A funder report produced in minutes rather than days.

Ways to fund it · options

Your funding buys the charity's time, not a licence.

Half the price is already waived for registered non-profits. Covering the rest gives a rescue the tool, and its staff the hours back, at no cost to them.

1 · List price

$199 /month

The Clinic plan: 10 staff, unlimited volunteers, every module. Starter is $100, Hospital $349.

2 · AnimalDesk takes half off

$99.50 /month

Registered non-profits pay 50% of any plan. Live today.

3 · You cover the other half

$0 for the charity

Your funding pays that $99.50, so the charity pays nothing. Proposed arrangement.

Worked example, Clinic plan: 10 charities cost you $995 a month, or $9,950 a year when billed yearly (10 months for 12). Starter seats are $50 a month each, Hospital $174.50. Priced by team size, never by animals. A pilot or network fee can be agreed once partner numbers are known.

The crisis · Thailand

Rabies is back in the headlines, and the last mile is the hardest.

Rabies is almost entirely preventable. Vaccinating at least 70% of dogs interrupts transmission, and the WHO, FAO and WOAH set the world a goal of ending dog-mediated human deaths by 2030 (Zero by 30, launched 2018, with the Global Alliance for Rabies Control). The last stretch is the street and community dogs nobody has a record of.

2025

7 human deaths

Thailand also confirmed more than 200 animal rabies cases that year, mostly dogs.

Bangkok, Sept to Oct 2025

A 30-day movement ban

After an outbreak in Prawet district, dogs, cats and other mammals could not be moved for 30 days.

2026 so far

Deaths and rising dog cases

A death in Rayong early in the year, and in Nakhon Ratchasima one death and 20 confirmed animal infections by 2 June.

Vaccine tracking, box to dog

Every rabies dose is logged with its batch and expiry, then tied to the animal or the community day it was given at. Live today.

GPS pins and mobile teams

Field teams record the dog, the pin and the dose offline, and sync when they are back. The map shows where the last unvaccinated areas are. Live today.

Targets, not guesses

Set the rabies target a funder gave a clinic and watch the count against the dates. Estimating the share of a district's dogs covered needs a dog count we do not yet hold, so that is on the roadmap.

Mock-ups · sample data, not real results

What your impact would look like.

Two views a funder could open on any day. The map of vaccinated dogs works today inside each clinic's Outreach. The view across all your partner charities is a mock-up of what we would build with you.

What commercial systems cost

They are built for business. We are built for animal welfare.

Most animal-health software is made for a commercial practice with paying clients and a bookkeeper. Animal shelters and welfare charities, running on donations, volunteers and field days, pay the same rates and get a tool shaped for someone else.

Priced per vet or per user

A charity's team is mostly volunteers and part-timers. Per-seat pricing punishes exactly that, and quotes arrive only after a sales demo.

No funder in mind

Reports are for the practice owner's business. None of the pages we read describe a sponsor's batch traced to the animal treated, or a target tracked from field records.

Clinic or shelter, not both

Shelter systems track adoptions and have no clinical record. Practice systems track billable visits and have no field outreach. Charities need the animal's whole story in one place.

Prices are the public starting figures from vendor pages and review sites in November 2026, in USD, and change often. Where a vendor publishes nothing we say so. Confirm before quoting them to a funder. What the others do not do is our reading of their public pages, not a test of their products.
